SNAP will be sponsoring many awards and scholarships again at this year’s annual convention at the Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center in the Poconos. All applications must be submitted via the JotForm link and are submitted by Sunday, October 15 by 5:00 p.m.
SNAP Member Scholarship Opportunities: SNAP provides scholarship monies that we receive from our exhibitors to current SNAP members. All applicants must be members of NSNA/SNAP.

SNAP Passion for Nursing Education: This award was established in 2016 by our wonderful SNAP Faculty Advisors! Please see application for eligibility requirements.
SNAP Leader of Tomorrow: The SNAP Board of Directors, in cooperation with our SNAP Alumni, have established this award to recognize a distinguished nursing student who exemplifies leadership and achievement in SNAP, their community and their scholarly efforts. The recipient will receive a $250 scholarship.

SNAP Faculty Advisor of the Year: This award is presented to one of our chapter’s Faculty Advisors. Chapters need to complete the following form for their Faculty Advisor to be considered:
The Community Health Award is presented to the SNAP chapter that submits the most outstanding community health project:
The Jamey Thiel Miller Legislative Award is presented to a SNAP member who is interested in and active in the political process:
The Outstanding Chapter Newsletter Award is given to a SNAP chapter that best demonstrates effective and consistent communications with their members through the use of a newsletter:
The Rena M. Lawrence Memorial Award is presented to a student who demonstrates outstanding achievement and commitment to nursing excellence.
The Outstanding Chapter Website Award is presented to a chapter who communicates regularly with their members through the use of a chapter website:
And the most prestigious chapter award presented each year is the Chapter Excellence Award. There are three categories, based on the chapter’s membership as of October 15th. Category 1 – 1 to 100 members; Category 2 – 101 to 200 members; and Category 3 – over 200 members:
