The Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) is responsible for selecting SNAP members for the Slate of Candidates for 2018-2019.  To be pre-slated, Consent To Serve applications must be received at the SNAP Office by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

Stacy is a Junior at Citizens School of Nursing in New Kensington, PA.   She is a mother of 1 , stepmother of 5 and grandmother of 2.  She has had a 25 year career as a medical office manager/Medical Assistant and has chosen to expand her education and fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse.  Her leadership experience started many years ago while being involved with 4-H,  multiple school offices,  it has continued throughout the years including being a cheerleader coach, fire department auxiliary secretary, PTA officer and coordinator of many events, as well as managing employees of many different ages.

Stacy is looking forward to serving as the NEC West representative as well as the NEC Chairperson.  Her main goal for this year is the fill the ballot for the 2018 elections with energetic young leaders who can encourage excitement for their regional SNAP chapters.   She would like to do this by getting more specific information to potential candidates about the positions that are available as well as incorporating the information on the SNAP website and making it more user friendly.

Brett is a freshman at Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and is originally from Washington Township, New Jersey. Brett graduated with a B.S. degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University where he had plans of continuing his education as a dentist. Brett changed directions and started working in the hospitality field for the next ten years, where he ended up as a catering manager. He then decided it was time to pursue his passion and become a nurse. Brett is married to his beautiful wife, Kelly, and they enjoy going to their family’s shore house in Manasquan, NJ, and enjoying all the festivals in downtown Ambler. Brett enjoys playing rugby, collecting comics, and being around his friends and family. One of Brett’s goals for the coming year is to have a full slate of candidates at the 2018 convention.
