The Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) is responsible for selecting SNAP members for the Slate of Candidates for 2019-2020. To be pre-slated, Consent To Serve applications must be received at the SNAP Office by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. ELIZABETH WILK, NEC WESTERN REGIONS AND CHAIR
Elizabeth Wilk is a junior nursing student at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing. She has been a member of the Pitt SNAP chapter since her freshman year. She has enjoyed being an involved member and is appreciative of the opportunities and learning experiences it has offered. Elizabeth has attended previous SNAP and NSNA conventions and co-authored a resolution at SNAP 2018. She is excited to be serving as the NEC West representative as well as the NEC Chairperson. Her main goal for the year is to fill the 2019 ballot with strong leaders. Elizabeth wants to encourage involvement from a variety of schools, a younger student population and students with different degree types. She is looking forward to a successful year and 2019 SNAP convention.

KATELYN PAYNE, NEC EASTERN REGIONS
Kate is a student in the BSN Express program at the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University. She is originally from Delaware and previously graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services. She became involved in SNAP at the beginning of her time at Villanova and serves as a SNAP representative for her program. Kate has previously had experience in leadership and teamwork as a student athlete. She hopes to network and connect with schools in the East to share what SNAP has to offer. She is honored to serve as the NEC East representative and is looking to encourage perspective students to be involved in the 2019 convention!
