Hello! My name is Leah Stone, and I will be serving as SNAP’s NEC West and NEC Chair. I am a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. At Pitt, I am my local SNAP chapter’s Business Manager and a member of the Mental Health, Resolution, and Engage Campaign committees. I work as a Teaching Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Pitt Nursing. I hope to go into psychiatric mental health nursing in the future. Please reach out with any questions, and I am super excited to meet everyone at SNAP Convention in the fall!

Hi, my name is Jocelin Ramirez, and I will be serving as your NEC Central Regions! I am currently a first-year nursing student at Pennsylvania State University, in a four-year program, I plan to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the future. I am also a current member of my own SNAP chapter at Penn state, so far as a first year I really have enjoyed being a part of the Student Nursing Association at Penn State (SNAPS). I hope to be a great asset to the Nomination and Election committee and hope to make some new connections. I look forward to seeing hopefully new faces at the convention and be able to share leadership opportunities SNAP offers and encourage you to run for a position as well! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!”

Hi! My name is Sydni Bell and I am so excited to be serving as your NEC East! I am a current sophomore BSN student with a Spanish minor at Widener University. I am the current Vice President of the Widener Student Nursing Association (WUSNA) as well. At Widener, I am also on the track and field team, the undergrad representative for the DEI committee within the School of Nursing, and a University Ambassador. The field of nursing has always been so important to me and something that I have been passionate about. I hope to one day become an OR nurse and eventually go back to graduate school for my DNP!

I look forward to sharing the amazing leadership opportunities that SNAP has to offer and inspiring leadership within all nursing students. I was able to attend the 70th and 71st SNAP conventions, which were both very influential for me as a student nurse. I’m so excited to meet everyone at the next convention in the fall! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have!
