The 66th Annual Convention, being held at the Hilton Harrisburg, is in the planning stages. We have many exciting workshops planned, and we are happy to announce our Keynote Speaker, Elizabeth Burgess Dowdell, PhD, RN, FAAN.
The Convention will be held from November 14 to 17, 2018. This year’s theme is “Nurses: Advocates in Action”, and many of the activities will be held again next year. Please check out the following:
There are many awards and scholarships available for both members and chapters! Check them out under the tab “Resources” and click on “Awards and Scholarships”.SCORE! NCLEX Championship Bowl: Wednesday afternoon and evening. LInks will be available with the registration and official rules next year. SCORE! NCLEX Mini Prep Courses: Thursday morning Keynote Address: Thursday afternoon SNAP Annual Awards Celebration: We will be holding a different event this year – a gala dessert reception! The cost will be much less and more people will be able to join us as we announce the many award winners. One of the main reasons of holding a convention each year is to convene the SNAP House of Delegates to decide on business pertinent to the organization and also to elect the SNAP Board of Directors and Nominations & Elections Committee (NEC) for the next organization year.
