PRESIDENT
Hi everyone! My name is Kieran Cook, and I’m honored to serve as your 2025–2026 State President. I’m a Senior at Penn State University Park, where I also chair the College Ambassador Program. Previously, I had the privilege of serving as South-Central Regional Coordinator and as your immediate past president which strengthened my passion for leadership, advocacy, and building stronger connections across our association.
This year, I’m especially excited to expand opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and collaboration across all SNAP chapters. SNAP’s incredible network of students, faculty, alumni, and nursing professionals is one of our greatest assets, and I encourage you to take full advantage of all that SNAP has to offer.
I look forward to meeting many of you at LEAD Workshop, Capitol Hill, NSNA Convention, and our Annual State Convention. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with ideas, questions, or ways we can better support you and your chapter!
VICE PRESIDENT

I’m from St. Louis, MO—but an avid Philadelphia lover. I love running and being active, especially when it involves a basketball. I volunteer for Special Olympics Fall Festival every October, and I am an engagement coordinator for NOVAdance to support the B+ Foundation fighting pediatric cancer.
I hope this year is one of growth, engagement, and opportunities for each and every person involved in SNAP. From expanding our professional network to engaging with our members, I know that SNAP has something to offer for everyone. Please feel free to reach out with any comments, suggestions, questions, or other feedback regarding Convention or other ideas for SNAP as we work to create some of the best experiences yet. I hope to see you at our LEAD Workshop, NSNA Convention in Houston, and at the 74th Annual Convention at Kalahari!
SECRETARY-TREASURER
Hi! My name is Sarah Weisbeck, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as your 2025–2026 State Secretary/Treasurer. I’m a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh – School of Nursing, where I serve as the Business Manager for Pitt’s chapter of the Nursing Student Association. I’m also involved in our Resolutions, Mental Health, and Engage Committees, as well as being a Student Ambassador, which have allowed me to collaborate with students across our chapter, think creatively, and advocate for meaningful initiatives within our school and our profession.
This year, I’m especially excited to bring my love for organization, clarity, and structure into this role. I take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and I look forward to helping our board stay coordinated and efficient. I’m also committed to making our communication and financial processes as clear and accessible as possible, so that every chapter feels informed, supported, and confident in the work we’re doing together. Most of all, I hope to create a sense of connection, making it easy for students across the state to engage with SNAP and see the impact they can have.
I’m hoping to meet many of you throughout the year at the conventions and workshops. Please feel free to reach out any time, whether you need support, have a new idea, or just want to get more involved. I’m always happy to help and even happier to collaborate.
