The SNAP Board was excited to offer members an opportunity to participate in a Poster Presentation at our convention last year, and it was very well received! And we are happy to announce that we are once again inviting members to submit an abstract to be considered for this year’s convention.
Applications are due by October 15, 2026 at 5:00PM
Applications must include:
Poster Title: Clearly reflects the poster’s main topic.
Author(s) and Co-Presenter(s): Full names, credentials, institutions, and faculty advisor (all must be SNAP members).
Abstract (275 words max): Describe the problem/project, your approach, and your findings/conclusions/solutions.
The SNAP Legislative Committee will review all submissions and select posters for presentation. Selected posters will be eligible for the Outstanding Poster Award, judged on the following criteria:
Abstract: Clearly identifies the problem/project, approach, and findings/conclusions/solutions within the word limit.
Scientific Content: Clearly presents the research question, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions; understandable without oral explanation; properly credits contributors and cited researchers.
Visual Presentation: Uncluttered layout with a balance of text, figures, and white space; legible fonts and colors; logical flow; engaging and informative graphics.
