Alexis Burns

Alexis is a junior at Drexel University and plans to graudate with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. She had previously served as Legislative Coordinator for the State Board of Directors as well as Drexel and presented resolutions at both state and national conventions. She is currently working full-time at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a nursing assistant on the Renal/Adolescent floor as her Cooperative Education piece of her BSN. From this experience and her past mental health clinical, she has a strong interest in psychiatric nursing especially involving children and adolescence. Alexis considers being elected as both an honor and a privilege and will represent and serve the membership to the best of her abilities.
