The LEAD workshop is designed for emerging leaders from Pennsylvania’s local chapters to gain leadership and development skills.  Ideally, participants will be freshmen or sophomores.  Each school may send up to a total of six (6) students, and registration will be on a first come – first served basis, for a maximum of 60 participants.

The SNAP Board of Directors is very excited to be able to offer this workshop.  The faculty includes David R. Ranck, Cindy Schmus, Dr. AnnMarie Papa and other nursing leaders.  We sincerely hope chapters take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn more about leadership and development on an individual and organizational level.

Attendees can make overnight accommodations at the Crown Plaza Harrisburg-Hershey, 23 South Second Street, Harrisburg, PA  17101 (new location!) for $119/night plus taxes. Call (717)234-5021 to make reservations. Be sure to tell them you are with the SNAP LEAD Workshop! The SNAP Board members will also be staying at this hotel. The Crowne Plaza has an indoor pool and fitness center, so be sure to bring your swimsuit/workout clothes!  It is a short walk to the UPMC Brady Medical Arts Building 205 South Front Street in Harrisburg.  Following is the program agenda (tentative):
